THE Vale Golf Club patron Alan Saunders continued his charitable exertions by completing the Birmingham Half Marathon for a fifth time earlier this month.
Saunders completed the course in an impressive 2:52:52 and raised £470 for The Vale's men's charity Rays of Sunshine, an organisation that grants wishes to children between three and 18 with serious of life-limiting illnesses.
