Council joins battle to reduce Britain's carbon footprint

COTSWOLD District Council is one of only two local authorities in Gloucestershire who have signed up to 10:10, a national drive to reduce Britain’s carbon footprint and make big savings on running costs.

NICK Summersby has applied to West Oxfordshire District Council for planning permission to erect a detached building comprising five stables, a tack room and two storage areas at College Farmhouse, Church Street, Kingham, near Chipping Norton.

Vandals attack Bourton library

VANDALS smashed two panes of glass in a side window at Bourton Public Library at The Youth Centre in The Avenue, Bourton. The vandalism was reported to police shortly after 9.50am on Friday, February 5. The cost of the damage has not been revealed.
