CLUB chairman David Galbraith was the top gun in Childswickham Gun Club’s monthly clay shoot.

Galbraith triumphed with an impressive score of 36 in the the usual 40-target sporting layout.

Ever-present Danny Andrews was second with 31 and Dave Lindup finished third after returning a score of 29.

The competition, as always, was very pronounced and some of the more experienced and accomplished shooters were keen to make their mark.

Danny Andrews triumphed in the 10-target charity pool shoot set up by club stalwart Sean Perry.

Deep into proceedings, several members were tied on 5/10 before Galbriath raised the bar slightly further to 7/10.

Andrews, along with his trusty Browning ultra, stepped up to the plate and put everything beyond doubt by posting the perfect score of 10/10.

The next shoot will be the Norman Morgan Cup on Sunday, July 3.

Anyone wishing to take part in the event must use a side-by-side rather than the more popular orientated over and under.
