WORCESTERSHIRE driver James Calado joined the Risi Competizione Ferrari squad in claiming a first GT Le Mans class victory.
The team newcomer, 27, a Ferrari FIA World Endurance Championship regular and ex-Prince Henry’s High School pupil in Evesham, drove alongside Giancarlo Fisichella and Toni Vilander.
Their Ferrari 488 GTE finished just over 15 seconds ahead of the Ganassi Ford GT shared by Joey Hand, Dirk Muller and Sebastien Bourdais.
The Ford finished with the Corvette Racing entry of Oliver Gavin, Tommy Milner and Marcel Fassler on their tail.
Third position gave Gavin and Milner the GTLM title.
The Risi team reversed the results from the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
