SUBSTITUTE Carl Brown rescued a point for Evesham United against 10-man Yate but the wait for a home victory goes on.
The Robins have now gone six matches at the Jubilee Stadium without winning despite dominating for much of Saturday's 1-1 draw in Southern League West.
United looked like they meant business from the off as Mat Liddiard headed narrowly over and Adam Mann had a shot blocked.
Yate were frequently on the back foot but seemed happy to soak up the pressure and play on the break, a tactic that paid dividends with 32 minutes on the clock.
Ben Brooks tapped into the unguarded net with Evesham keeper Kevin Sawyer stranded, leaving the hosts with a mountain to climb against stubborn opponents.
Undeterred, United kept probing with Liddiard's header from Bradley Gray's cross forcing a strong stop from Harvey Rivers, a feat matched when Brown looked destined to scramble in during the dying embers of the first half.
Rivers pushed a Lewis Powell effort around the post following good work from Ethan Moore shortly after the restart with the ex-Taunton striker then having a goal ruled out for offside.
Matt Bennett's blistering 30-yard effort was flicked away by the persistent Rivers before Yate's Mayson Evans was sent off in the 65th minute for a second yellow card.
The non-stop Evesham pressure continued and eventually paid off when fellow substitute Jordan Bryan swung in a pin-point cross from which Brown made no mistake to level matters.
United pressed until the end but could not find another breakthrough, leaving the crowd buoyed by a better performance but frustrated by a draw.
