PERSHORE fourths' 50-year-old seamer Mike Bunn took an astonishing eight wickets with a hat-trick in a match-winning performance against Oldswinford and Stourbridge Social fourths.
The match pitched the top two sides in Worcestershire League Division Five against each other.
Opener and leading run-scorer Dom Capaldi helped Pershore reach 115-1 before they collapsed to 160-9 off their 45 overs.
In reply Oldswinford were bowled out for just 41 as Bunn tore through their batting order.
His nine-over spell conceded just seven runs including four maidens.
The hat-trick was Bunn’s first and his 8–7 a career best.
The 119-run win means Pershore fourths top the table with a 50-point lead.
