ENTRIES have been flooding in for the Evesham Town 10K Race.

The event takes place on Sunday, July 9 at 10am and four children’s races are being held after the main 10k.

Race director Leanne Dean said: “It is great to see so many runners coming from far and wide.

“It is a beautiful course around our historic town and this year we are running for a brilliant charity, Evesham and District Mental Health Support Services. Every runner will get a medal and a t-shirt.”

Online entries close on Sunday but people can sign up by visiting the Birdseye Sports Shop in High Street, Evesham, next Thursday between 5pm and 8pm, or by registering on the day at Crown Meadow from 8am to 9.30am.

Entries for the children’s races can be made in Crown Meadow on the morning of the event.
