It’s that time of the week again, another one of our beloved TV soaps has had its weekly schedule disrupted due to sport.

There will be no Coronation Street airing tonight (February 28) on ITV, as coverage of the FA Cup continues.

The next fifth-round match between Liverpool v Southampton will start on ITV1 from 7.30pm, with kick-off at 8pm.

Mark Pougatch will be joined by Ian Wright and Roy Keane as the trio will present throughout the game.

More FA Cup coverage will be shown on BBC One at the same time, meaning EastEnders will also not air tonight at its usual time of 7.30pm.

Instead, Gary Lineker will host Match of the Day Live as Nottingham Forest take on Manchester United at the City Ground, with kick-off at 7.45pm.
