CHILDREN at Winchcombe Farm Day Nursery in Upper Tysoe have been hard at work making cards and gifts to give lucky dads for Father’s Day.
Youngsters at the Shenington Road based day nursery have painted plant pots and grown flowers inside them to give as gifts to their fathers on Sunday.
Duty manager Clare Haynes said: “We sat down at circle time and talked to the children about Father’s Day and read a book called ‘I love Daddy’.
"We then talked with each child about what they loved doing best with their dad or grandad and helped them write it in their Father’s Day card."
