SHIPSTON Town Council is on the hunt for a new member following the resignation of Brian Healey.
Mr Healey is leaving the council after 18 months of service to pursue work commitments.
Residents have until September 1 to put their names forward for co-option after an election was not called for.
Mayor Philip Vial said: "We're all sad Brian's gone. He was a really affective member of the council. We understand the impact it was having on his working life but we will miss him.
"He really was a hard worker."
