TWO people had to be rescued after their car and caravan got stuck in floodwater near Winchcombe.
Gloucestershire Fire & Rescue Service was called just before 11pm on Friday to the incident just off the B4632 in Didbrook.
A crew fromWinchcombe fire station attended and found the vehicles stuck in floodwater underneath a railway bridge.
A Gloucestershire Fire & Rescue Service spokesman said: "On arrival crews quickly rescued the two people in the vehicle and due to them suffering hypothermia requested the an ambulance to attend.
"The Ambulance quickly gave the occupants the all clear but due to the cold and them not being from the local area a request for the Fire Emergency Support Vehicle from Gloucester to attend was made.
"The vehicle which is staffed by volunteers from the Red Cross attended and were able to support the couple until alternative accommodation was found. This took about two hours."
