THE owner of a Cotswold fitness studio said being recognised in the first Campden Business Forum Awards meant a “huge amount” to him and his team.

Master trainer Tim Spittle, who founded Draycott-based RapidFX in 2009, was given a judges commendation award at the ceremony last month.

He opened a sister gym Personal Best with his wife, Amy, in Campden in October last year and they currently have a team of six trainers.

Sponsored by the Journal, the awards were open to all members of the business forum and students at Chipping Campden School to celebrate business excellence in Chipping Campden. Judges recognised RapidFX and Personal Best for contributing in a very positive way to the health and well-being of the local community from both a personal and business perspective.

Mr Spittle said: “To win this award means a huge amount to us. We are very grateful to the Campden Business Forum.

“I feel it recognises the care, dedication and belief of our team of fine trainers, illustrating that we are an important member of a local business community which makes us very proud.

“Recognising local businesses makes all of us work a little harder and continue to strive to find a place in a very competitive and difficult economic climate.”
