FIREWORKS displays across the Vale were well attended despite biting cold and occasional downpours.
Bonfire Night revellers filed onto Corporation Meadow on Monday evening to witness Evesham’s fireworks display.
A bonfire helped warm up visitors before they watched a James Bond themed display put on by the award-winning Celebration Fireworks.
The event, in aid of the Mayor of Evesham’s Charities, was described as good value for money by visitors but some did report a large congregation watched from the leisure centre car park overlooking the meadow to avoid the entrance charge.
Meanwhile, Pershore residents had their fill of fireworks fun on Saturday evening in Guy Fawkes’ Revenge at The Angel Hotel, High Street.
The riverside gardens were crammed with visitors eager to catch a glimpse of the rockets on display.
However, there were a few damp squibs as a heavy downpour just before the fireworks were lit meant some failed to spark.
