Worcester Wychavon Rotary Club staged their 15th annual concert in Pershore Abbey on April 16. The prize winning Flowers Band performed as usual to a packed Abbey and, as in every previous year, surpassed themselves with an excellent programme. The Rotary Club's President, Geoff Wilson, had chosen St.Paul's Hostel, Worcester as his charity during his presidential year. Chief Executive Officer of St. Paul's, Jonathon Sutton, gave a good in depth talk on the work of the hostel and thanked everyone for their efforts in raising money for St. Paul's. The concert was attended by The Mayor of Pershore, Mr. Tony Rowley and his wife, Mayoress Debbie Rowley.
