WHAT a joy to welcome our very own Maggie Close as our speaker/demonstrator for the evening.
Maggie made some delightful flower arrangements whilst talking us through the art of her subject, also passing on many tips, she told us that no way was she a professional, we couldn’t agree, her table looked immaculate and most attractive, Maggie I wish I was that tidy! An excellent person for your WI so get her booked now.
It was also a pleasure to welcome Jenny, Rosemary and Viv, our visitors for the evening, thank you for coming ladies, we hope you enjoyed the meeting and come again soon.
At the end of the evening Maggie very kindly donated the flower arrangements that she had made, for the raffle, she was thanked by Liz and was given something that could have been a bottle of something, if the bag was anything to go by, enjoy Maggie you deserved it.
Our next meeting is on November 12 when our speaker, Sandy Cale will take us back in time and style with Elegant Georgian Worcester.
Visitors are always welcome 7.30pm in the village hall, see you there.
