AN UNUSUAL exhibition of beautifully made christening gowns will open to the public in Blockley near Moreton-in-Marsh this weekend.
The display is part of the Church of St Peter and St Paul Blockley Patronal Festival which falls on Saturday, June 25 and Sunday, June 26.
Christening and childhood are the themes of this year's festival, which also includes a performance by village choirs on Saturday afternoon from 3pm at the church.
The village's WI group will host the exhibition, which will include memorabilia and flowers donated by village groups, Blockley School, nursery school and toddler group.
Proceeds from the Saturday concert will go to the Bell Tower project. Tickets can be bought from Blockley shop, or on the door on the night.
