A DISH served annually to celebrate the life of Scottish bard Robert Burns was enjoyed by children at Swell PrimarySchool.
Year 2 children researched the life and works of the famous poet who was born on January 25 1759 and died on July 21 1796, aged just 37.
The children passed on their research to the whole school and served haggis for them all to try.
Each child loved the Scottish dish and many had second helpings.
