COMMUNITY spirit was on show in the village of Twyning.
Twyning Village Stores donated £383.50 to Twyning School, through NISA’s Making a Difference Locally scheme, which will be spent on buying a new laptop to aid with the children's learning.
Richard Vaughan, headteacher of Twyning School, said: "We are delighted to receive the funding."
Every time a customer purchases a heritage branded item, or an item on the Making a Difference Locally page in the store's leaflet is purchased, a proportion of the price is added to the store’s Making a Difference Locally fund which is then donated to good causes within Twyning.
