THIS year’s flower show in Bledington was a riot of colour as villagers displayed a variety of Olympic-themed arrangements.
Entrants turned everything from flowers and plants to vegetables into Olympic-inspired displays including seven-year-old Morley Tyack who created a Usain Bolt model out of an aubergine, celery and carrots.
Chairman of the organising committee Tony Windsor said: “We had a lovely day with people sitting outside enjoying the weather.
“There was a variety of attractive flowers and arrangements. We also made about £150 profit, which will be distributed to village charities.”
