PUPILS at Moreton’s St David’s School raised £600 for Haiti’s earthquake victims by holding a bring and buy sale.
They sold games, toys, books and other items - all for 50p or £1 - and donated the money they raised to the Save the Children charity’s Haiti Appeal.
They were inspired to do this by a flier the charity sent to the school promoting the appeal.
Members of the local community were among their customers.
Headteacher, Bob Forster, said: “I was just very proud of the community’s effort.”
