THE writing’s on the floor as far as children at Moreton’s St David’s Church of England Primary School are concerned.
Markings have been painted on the East Street school’s playground for the first time since the site was devastated by July 2007’s floods.
An alphabet caterpillar, hopscotch, chess, a number spiral and compass are among markings that have been painted.
These markings, along with a new surface, climbing wall and benches, are among playground improvements funded by £10,000 Steve and Val Farnsworth raised at their Grimes House Antiques and Fine Art shop in High Street, Moreton by selling photographs and DVDs of the flooding.
