A BRAVE victim told a mum-of-one who strangled her she would never forgive her for what she did.
Reena Williams' sickening attack took place at Marilyn's nightclub, Evesham, during the festive period last year.
During the 19-year-old's sentence at Worcester Magistrates Court the victim was given the chance to read out her personal statement.
The victim told Williams, who was sitting in the dock, she believed the defendant would not have stopped choking her if someone had not intervened.
"What you did to me will haunt me forever," the victim told Williams.
"I know I am traumatised by it. You have put me and my family through hell.
"Sorry will not be enough - I hope you learn from this."
Prosecutor Thomas Wickstead told magistrates the full details of Williams' horrifying attack which took place on December 30.
The victim went to the women's toilets with her friends and knocked on one of the doors of a cubicle.
Williams came out saying they did not know what she was capable of telling the victim she would put her in A&E.
After the victim tried to defuse the situation Williams grabbed her head banging it on the side of the cubicle and wall.
"After that she grabbed her around the neck by both hands," the prosecutor said.
Mr Wickstead said the attack lasted minutes but had felt longer to the victim who was losing consciousness before someone eventually got Williams off the victim.
Police were called and outside the nightclub Williams became more confrontational kicking PC Hart in the leg causing him to lose balance.
Williams, who had previous convictions as a youth and admitted common assault of an emergency worker and assault by beating, was defended by Kirandeep Soor.
He told the court Williams, of Banks Road, Badsey, near Evesham, had issues in a past relationship which had damaged her mental state.
"She is deeply remorseful and apologetic," the solicitor said.
"She says she should have never acted in the way she did."
Magistrates gave Williams a 12-month community order with the requirement she complete 20 rehabilitation activity requirement days.
Williams was ordered to pay the victim £250 compensation and the police officer £75 as well as £185 costs.
The defendant was ordered to pay the £510 total at a rate of £50 per month.
The case was heard at the court on Thursday, (February 29).
