Led by Jennifer Tomes and Matthew Norris, the centre will address chiropractic needs and alleviate NHS waiting times.

Dr Tomes holds a masters in chiropractic, and Dr Norris has dedicated over six years to community healthcare.

Dr Norris said: "This funding has transformed our ability to start this business successfully.

"We have been able to invest a proper amount into marketing which we would not have been able to do otherwise.

"Additionally, fitting the clinic to a high standard allows us to deliver our high-quality services".

The business also plans to create additional employment opportunities for residents in the New Year.

Mark Thayre, SWIG's Credit Manager, guided Jennifer and Matthew through the application process.

He said: "When Jenny and Matt approached us for funding, I was really impressed with their robust business plan and cashflow forecasts.

"It’s clear that they have a well-thought-out vision for their business and SWIG were delighted to help them realise their business idea".
