A CAR has crashed into a Domino's Pizza restaurant leaving seven people hurt and two taken to hospital.

Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service was called out to a crash on High Street in Evesham at 12.37pm today (Wednesday, August 9).

Seven people, including an elderly man and woman, were left in the care of the ambulance service.

A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: “Crews from Evesham and Broadway Fire Stations attended the High Street with supporting appliances not required.

“A car had hit a restaurant with two other vehicles involved.

“The vehicles were made safe and the incident was left with the police by the final crew at 1.49pm.”

A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said a man and a woman were taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital.

They said: "We were called at around 12.40pm to reports of an RTC on High Street in Evesham.

"Three ambulances and a paramedic officer were sent to the scene where, on arrival, crews found one car had come off the road and crashed into a building.

"The driver, a man, and a female passenger were treated for injuries not believed to be serious by ambulance staff and were both conveyed to Worcestershire Royal Hospital for further treatment."
