A CULINARY duo have opened two new pubs in the Cotswolds.

Business partners Tom Noest and Pete Creed have taken over a pair of pubs in the area.

They have added The Fox Inn in Broadwell, outside Shipston, and The Sherborne Arms in Northleach to their growing portfolio.

The duo already operate The Bell at Langford (opened in 2017), The Little Bell at Soho Farmhouse (2019) and The Lamb at Shipton under Wychwood which opened in July 2021.

The Sherborne Arms will open for the first time this Sunday (May 28).

It sees Tom and Pete return to the town where they first met and went into business together.

Many years back, the pair crossed paths whilst working at The Wheatsheaf Inn – Tom as a chef and Pete as the general manager.

The Sherborne Arms, in Northleach’s market square, dates back to the 1700s and has been derelict for the last three years.

Pete and Tom took on the lease in March and restored the 100-cover pub and plan to add three ensuite bedrooms in July.

Back in March, the pair quietly took over management of The Fox at Broadwell.

It is owned by The Donnington Brewery, which just two miles away brews traditional English ales.

The Fox features a bar area with plenty of seating, a restaurant and a large beer garden at the back, with a menu offering a range of pub classics using local meats, vegetables grown on the landlord’s allotment, and fresh fish delivered from Brixham every day.
