THIS Saturday marks the annual celebration of non-league football, when fans of the game are urged to get out and support their local clubs up and down the country.

Non-League Day comes around every year and has done since 2010 when it was first started by James Doe, and has now has grown to become an annual part of the football calendar.

This year, the date for the day is March 25, and is always a date that coincides with the international break, so that regular watchers of the professional game are able to support their local clubs without missing out on any Premier League action.

The day allows clubs to promote the importance of affordable volunteer-led community football while giving fans across the country the chance to show support for their local non-league side.

So, who is playing this weekend locally?

All the football sides in Worcestershire are below the Football League, so there really is no excuse to miss out on supporting your local side.

Kidderminster Harriers are the highest-ranked side and they play at home this weekend in the National League North against Alfreton Town. Ticket prices start at £17 for adults and £4 for under 16s.

Fancy a trip lower down the non-league ladder? Well you can find the likes of Alvechurch, Redditch United and Bromsgrove Sporting at Step 3.

Church are offering discounted tickets of just £5 if you book online for their Southern League Central clash with Bedford Town. Bromsgrove are selling adult tickets for £12 for their home game with Mickleover.

Into Step 4 and Evesham United are also at home in the Southern League Division One South when they face Bashley.

Worcester City are at home to Studley in the Midland Football League Premier on Saturday and you can grab a ticket for just £5 if you book online.

Droitwich Spa are also at home this weekend when they host Wednesfield at 3PM and tickets are just £5 on the gate.
