THE Cotswold Decorative & Fine Arts Society's lecture on September 9 will be “500 Years of Portraiture" by Sarah Kelly.
This lecture will focus on a range of portraits, some by famous, some by less well-known artists, spanning 500 years of Western European painting. In addition to lecturing on art history, Sarah works with visually impaired people in art galleries.
Lectures take place at Bradwell Village Hall, Burford, and begin at 11am with coffee and tea available from 10.15am to10.45am. Non-members are very welcome, no need to book (suggested donation £8). For more information see our website www.cotswolddfas.org.uk.
