YOUNGSTERS with an ear for music have been showcasing their talent at the Manor House, in Moreton.
The children from Dormer House School had been learning to play an instrument and staged their progress to an large audience.
From rousing drum solos to elegant piano duets and a feisty rendition of the poem, ‘A Fierce Pirate Crew’, the children entertained family and friends. The formal surroundings were a perfect location for our pitch perfect music and drama recital. The range of performing skills was second to none and the audience was extremely impressed by the high standards on show.
Headmistress, Alison Thomas, comments: “It was wonderful to see the progression from Year 1 pupils who have just started their musical journey, up to Year 6 pupils, some of whom have secured music scholarships to their senior schools.”
