Mill Dene opens its gates for the Red Cross

A SPECIAL opening at Mill Dene Garden in Blockley raised £200 for the Red Cross.

The gardens, which hold special openings for charities and good causes about five times a year, hosted garden tours yesterday (Sunday) for visitors.

Owner Wendy Dare said: "We had lots of visitors. It was a beautiful day. The roses are looking beautiful at the moment and the herb garden is smelling wonderful".

The gardens are open Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 5pm and 9am to 2pm on Saturdays until October.
