A YOUNG morris dancer is closer to his goal of dancing on a mountain top in the Alps after £289 was raised at a recent tour.
The Campden Morris Men danced at different locations around the Cotswolds including Moreton, Stow and Bourton on May 17, to send their youngest dancer and Scout, Will, to an international Scout Jamboree.
The youngster is going to Kandersteg in Switzerland and is hoping to perform a Campden dance on a mountain top.
Paul Bryon, lead musicianer, said: "The tour went very well indeed. we finished at the Scout hall for tea at 5pm- great fun, as always with Campden Morris.
"Plenty of good humour and successful for Will....we raised £289 towards his venture."
