LONG delays are being caused on the M5 in both directions as a result of broken down vehicles.

A lorry has broken down in the southbound carriageway between junction 4A for the M42 and junction five for Droitwich and Wychbold, causing congestion to junction four for the A38.

A car has also broken down in the northbound carriageway in the same area.

One lane is closed in both directions.

The hard shoulder is also closed due to roadworks.
