A RACE night held in Weston sub-Edge near Chipping Campden raised just over £416 towards a new defibrillator.
Organised by the parish council, the event held in the village hall on April 26 started with a video demonstration of the use of the defibrillator which has recently been installed on the wall at the bottom end of Dovers View.
Guests enjoyed taking part in eight races along with a a ploughman's and a raffle.
Members of the Parish Council hope that with the aid of additional fund raising events in the future a further defibrillator can be provided.
