THE son of a man who suffered a stroke last year has raised £200 for the charity that helped him get back on his feet.
Ten-year-old Xavier Farrell raised the money for Connect, a charity that supports people living with communication disability and aphasia, which usually occurs after a stroke or brain injury.
His father Kim, aged 50, who lives in Moreton, suffers with the condition after having a stroke in July last year which affected the right side of his body and his speech.
Xavier was the winner at Dormer House School’s charity and raised £200 for the charity after a successful presentation about how it has helped his family.
