The opening show of The X Factor had some notable changes, namely familiar faces Louis Walsh and Mel B being replaced by Radio DJ Nick Grimshaw and the former The Voice judge Rita Ora.
But celebs aside, there was a certain man and a certain woman who graced the stage with a Michael Jackson rendition. And they called themselves Man and Woman (what else??).
So when a bemused Simon Cowell questioned the duo about the origins of their bizarre name, Man couldnโt help but say: โIsnโt it obvious?โ
Okay, with that cleared, Cyprian (the Man) and Ruth (the Woman) proceeded to belt out their version of โYou Are Not Aloneโ.
Some thought Man and Woman were the epitome of relationships.
It seems the pair were having an on-and-off relationship for about a year, but were willing to keep their romance going simply to further themselves on the X Factor.
People had to re-watch their act simply because they became compelling viewing.
But maybe, the relationship didnโt look that โonโ.
*Suspicious*
There were giggles on backstage, with hosts Caroline Flack and Olly Murs in splits and sort of rolling on the floor.
But all seemed well later, when the presenters posed for a quick selfie.
The puns couldnโt be helped.
The duo were out of tune, unable to harmonise or get a note right.
But some of us realised they were actually entertainment gold.
Unfortunately, the judges thought otherwise and Man and Woman ended up with four rejections from the star-studded panel.
Then a desperate Ruth attempted to sing Christina Aguileraโs Genie In A Bottle, but unfortunately, the judges had already made up their mind.
Who knows, maybe we havenโt heard the last of themโฆ
