STAFF, clients and business associates joined the partners of Worcester law firm QualitySolicitors Parkinson Wright for drinks and canapés in the marquee on College Green at Worcester Cathedral to celebrate 50 years of legal practice in Worcestershire.

The evening was hosted by Dave Bradley, of BBC Hereford and Worcester.

It was attended by the Rt Reverend Dr John Inge, Bishop of Worcester; the Mayor and Mayoress of Worcester Councillor Roger Berry and his wife Jill, as well as David Wright, one of the founder members of Parkinson Wright.

The firm was founded by Ken Parkinson in 1962 and he was joined by Mr Wright in 1969 when it became Parkinson Wright.

The firm developed rapidly in the 1970s and now has three offices and an estate agency in Worcestershire.

In February, Parkinson Wright was selected to become part of the national brand of QualitySolicitors which has more than 350 branches throughout the UK.
