EVESHAM United suffered a fourth consecutive home defeat when Kidlington won 3-1 in Evo-Stik Southern League Division One West.

The Robins slipped down to sixth in the table after another setback at the Jubilee Stadium.

Mid-table Kidlington started brightly in front of a crowd of 178 but went behind to an Ethan Moore header in the 25th minute.

The hosts went close to increasing their lead in the second half when a snap-shot from Moore cannoned off the bar in the 62nd minute.

But determined Kidlington were rewarded when Roger James lashed the ball home after he got on the end of a free-kick from Lewis Coyle in the 69th minute.

Coyle and James combined again with the latter playing the ball into the box for the unmarked Anaclet Odhiambo to make it 2-1 to the Greens in the 79th minute.

The icing was put on the cake for Kidlington in the 87th minute when a Roger Martin cross found Darius Browne who buried the ball into the back of the net.

Meanwhile, Westfields recorded a fine 3-1 home victory over visiting Lye Town at allpay.park in the Midland League Premier Division.

Ryan Rowe gave Lye an early lead but Fields hit back through Richard Greaves, Jamie Molyneux and Kingsford Adjei while the visitors had a man sent off for an overzealous tackle.
