EVESHAM United were thrashed 7-3 in a nightmare fourth friendly of pre-season against Southern League Premier Division side Stratford Town at the Jubilee Stadium.

The Division One South and West hosts went behind in the 14th minute through Richard Gregory.

The 33rd minute saw the first of four goals scored up to half-time by Dior Angus, Evesham old boy Simeon Tulloch (2) and Gregory again.

Three minutes into the second period, it was six through Gregory and seven on 55 by Gregory again as he scored four in the game.

In the 57th minute, a trademark header by Matt Sysum saw Evesham finally pull a goal back.

Robins forward Adam Mann scored a minute later and added his second later on.

The Jubilee Stadium hosts a charity match between Growers United and legends from Manchester United and Liverpool today (3.30pm).
