THE Journal has a letter from John Dunn, Evesham (September 25), which I support 100 per cent.
Starting where John ended "elected councillors, once having been elected, consider the views of others to be of little importance".
Councillors (and I include councillor John Smith and other Worcestershire County Council employees) listen to people's comments and either ignore them or pass them on. Little or nothing is done.
Our roads (and pavements) are death traps – significant health and safety hazards.
Yes, money needs to be spent, but if the repairs were completed correctly in the first place they would last longer and maintain costs within budget too.
Talking of costs, used road signs are scattered everywhere in hedgerows instead of being collected and stored away for future use.
