I FIND it incredulous that Councillor Chris Turner objects to the new Stow doctor’s surgery being built on the field in Stow, where drawings and plans show that it is very sympathetic in design to the surrounding areas.
If he is so against “things” that will spoil our wonderful areas of outstanding beauty why does he not object to the hideous wheelie bins inflicted on us by the EU and local councils – how in anyway can they be contributing to the beautiful areas?
Tourist reports should now go out – come to the Cotswolds where the beautiful historic villages are accented with multi-coloured bins outside each door.
Many houses in Cotswold villages have to leave them somewhere in the front as they cannot hide them at the back – a real abomination, and I bet originally thought out by some idiot in Brussels.
