JUST to say a huge thank-you to the organisers of Pershore Open Gardens.

It was a delight to see such a variety of gardens, from those with a swimming pool to those consisting of a large patio, not forgetting the wonderful kitchen garden at Holy Redeemer school, which also provided very knowledgeable and helpful experts by way of pupils to guide us round.

The weather was on our side and all snails seems to have gone under cover; so well done everyone, and I am sure that we all appreciate the amount of work that goes into putting on such an event and hope that a good sum was raised for charity.

I understand that more gardens would be welcome as would more organisers, so get in touch with Jan Garratt.

In the meantime, don’t forget to visit some of Pershore’s open kitchen gardens on June 28 and get some instruction on how to grow your own.
