CCTV footage has captured two men trying to steal a scooter in Hampton, Evesham.
The men broke into a shed by smashing the padlock before trying to start the scooter, on Sunday (April 29).
However, they couldn’t start the scooter and so abandoned it before driving off in a car.
The owner of the scooter, Peter Fox, whose CCTV captured the attempted theft, said his vehicle had been left smashed up with parts removed.
He said: "After realising they won’t be able to start my bike, the two males drove off.
“They escaped in a silver Peugeot 206, with distinct spoked alloy wheels. They should be easy to spot.’’
A spokesman for the Evesham Safer Neighbourhood Team said: ‘”A call has been made to police regarding damage to motorbikes.
‘’Someone has broken in to the shed breaking the padlock and removed parts from the bikes. There is no mention of exact time but it was between 5pm and 8.30pm.”
