TO celebrate the transformation of the Bramley Cottage in Redditch, which reopened in May, Ember Pub & Dining is giving eight lucky readers the chance to win a £25 voucher to spend on food from its award-winning menu.

Ember Pub & Dining is a new pub brand from Ember which offers gastro pub quality food at affordable prices alongside a range of seasonal cask ales, with eight on offer at any one time. The Bramley Cottage now offers an award-winning menu of traditional pub dishes with a modern twist alongside a freshly-prepared daily specials menu, created by the kitchen team.

The menu, which recently won Best Branded Pub Restaurant in this year’s Midas Menu Innovation and Development Awards, offers a wealth of gastro-quality dishes including mouth-watering starters such as Severn and Wye Valley oak smoked salmon and an almond crumbed Somerset Brie, served with an apple salad and redcurrant and juniper jelly.

In addition to traditional pub classics such as beer-battered line caught cod and thick cut chips served with a minted pea puree, the kitchen team will also be creating a number of freshly prepared daily specials including a 21 day matured fillet steak which comes with dauphinoise potato, green beans and tender stemmed broccoli.

Lin Smith, manager of the Bramley Cottage, said: “The team here are really excited about the new-look Bramley Cottage.

"And I’m confident that both our regulars, alongside new guests, will love it too. That’s why we’re encouraging local Redditch residents to come down and try the menu.

“Our chef, Dean Hall, will be offering an award-winning selection of dishes, and we’re proud to be able to offer restaurant quality food at prices everyone can afford. As part of our new policy on family dining, we will also be offering smaller portions of many of our favourite dishes so that our younger guests can enjoy them too.”

To accompany these gastro classics, the dessert menu will feature a number of reworked favourites including banoffee pie served with fresh bananas, whipped cream and crumbled chocolate through to lemon curd ice cream from Callestic Farm in Devon.

A wide selection of seasonal cask ales will also be available at the Bramley Cottage, and the pub will maintain its reputation as one of the best real ale pubs in Redditch as it will continue to select its weekly changing choice from over 90 different brewers.
