TO celebrate the grand re-opening of its Droitwich store, situated in the Salter Shopping Centre, Wilkinson is offering three lucky readers the chance to win £50 worth of vouchers, to spend on products from its new ‘Welcome to Summer’ range.

The re-branded store, re-opened with a summer fair themed event on Thursday 12th May, which saw see Droitwich Fire Station’s Commander, Dan Quinn plus Wilkinsons’ chief executive, Stuart Mitchell, and store manager, Alan Parris, re-open the store with an official ribbon cutting ceremony.

Droitwich firefighters will be on hand during the opening to give advice on how to correctly fit and maintain smoke alarms in the home and highlight how working smoke alarms with healthy batteries can be real lifesavers.

Shoppers will be able to sample a selection of delicious ice cream flavours from the store’s free on-site ice cream vendor, who will be positioned outside of the store throughout the day. Visitors will also be invited to have a go on the store’s Coconut Shy for the chance of winning a bag of sumptuous sweets as well as a coconut, all to raise money for Wilkinsons’ charity of the year, Anthony Nolan.

The fun continues on Saturday, May 14, when a face painter will be in store turning young shoppers into a variety of creatures and cartoon characters.
