The Moreton Show returns in just a month’s time and now all the details of the popular event have been revealed.

One of the biggest one-day agricultural shows in the UK takes place on September 3 and visitors will certainly have plenty to get stuck into.

Set on a 165-acre site, just off the A429, the Moreton Show will feature parades, classes, traders and of course, animals.

The centrepiece of the show will be the Grand Arena, which has a packed timetable include Squibb freestyle stunt bikes, the Shetland Pony Grand National, a parade of the hounds, and show jumping.

The main event will be the Livestock Grand Parade, which will be complimented by events going on in the Rural Attractions Ring such as the vintage tractor parade, terrier racing, and the Welsh axemen.

Sebastian Garner, director and organiser of the Shetland Pony Grand National, said: "We are naturally delighted to be returning to Moreton Show again this year, the children thoroughly enjoyed the show last year and are looking forward to coming back again."

Stockmen and women will travel from all across the UK to exhibit at the Moreton Show.

The event aims to showcase the best of British agriculture, which will be highlighted by the National Poll Hereford Cattle Show.

There will also be a horse section, with a range of showing and show jumping classes taking place, with many Horse of the Year Show qualifiers set to take part.

Moreton Morrell and Pershore Colleges’ 'Farmtastic' area will offer a celebration of farming and rural life, as well as a place for children to meet some farm animals, learn about how cows used to be milked back in the day, and look around the vintage tractors.
