Preparations for the Moreton Show’s return are well underway.

The popular event has been established for over 70 years and is now one of the largest one-day agricultural shows in the country.

It could not be put on without the backing of the sponsors, with estate agents Knight Frank once again supporting the show.

Sheila de Cordova, the firm’s head of events, hospitality and charity, said: “Knight Frank is delighted to support this wonderful event which brings together families and friends from across the local community.

"More recently, with the ever-increasing focus on the British countryside post-Covid, the show has reached an even wider national audience, making it more popular than ever.

“Traditional agricultural and horse shows are an important part of England’s rich rural history, with many running for decades.

“Here at Knight Frank we are thrilled to play a small part in supporting the show, which we hope will continue to thrive for many more years to come.

“It demonstrates the very best of what our special countryside has to offer.”

Moreton Show, this year held on Saturday September 3, will showcase the best produce and livestock in the Cotswolds.

Held at the Batsford Estate, the showground will be split into different zones for things such as food, horses, gardening, and livestock.

There will also be a Members Marquee, this year sponsored by Butler Sherborn.

Mark Lewis, managing director of one of the Show’s other platinum sponsors, Cotswold Raw, can’t wait to get going.

He said: “It is a great opportunity to meet our local customers and to meet some new ones.

“We see many of our suppliers and local retailers at t the show too.

“Celebrate everything the North Cotswold region has to offer.

“Plus our team love being at the show too with their families and their dogs.

“Lots going on for the whole team.”
