MORETON Rangers kept up their 100 per cent record at the top of Gloucestershire Northern Senior Football League Division Two.

They powered to a 4-0 home victory over mid-table Viney St Swithins with Robert Hands, Matthew Magee and Danny Sherry on target alongside an own goal at London Road.

Moreton lead Hardwicke on goal difference with both winning their first four matches and Abbeymead Rovers close behind in third spot.

However, it was a day to forget for Bourton Rovers, who crashed 9-2 at fourthplaced Barometrics and are second-from-bottom with one point from four fixtures.

The teams embark on the Gloucestershire FA Senior Amateur (North) Cup trail on Saturday with Moreton hosting Longford and Bourton entertaining Sharpness in a tough encounter (both 2.30pm).
