EVESHAM’S Prince Henry’s High girls’ under 16s qualified for the Table Tennis England Butterfly National School Team Championship finals at Hinckley in March.
Abi Ingles and Anna Cole supported the team of Beth Pye, Sophie Arrandale, Emily Grove and Rebecca Arrandale.
They beat Wallington High of London South 6-2 and Weald of Kent Grammar School 5-3 at the regional finals in Bristol to reach the last four nationally.
Blackminster Middle’s Katie Fisher, Phoebe Allcock, Tia Hawthorn and Elmarie Laurens played in the girls’ under 11s regional event for the first time.
They lost to Fox Primary of London 8-0, Amherst School of Kent 8-0 and Enmore Academy of Devon 7-1.
