NEW seniors’ captain Graham Whitehead held the annual drive-in at The Vale Golf Club.
Seventy-nine members played a Texas am-am in difficult conditions with 99 points earning the win for John Milward, Steve Hampton, John Scott, Larry Taylor and Mick Heard.
Second with 98 were Duilio Perla, Chris Filus, Rob Brownsdon and Mike Spittle.
Third with 94 were Brian Brumhead, Martin Holland, Geoff Wilson, Rob Taylor and Tony Perryman.
More than £250 was raised to go towards the three captains’ nominated charities Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust and Prostate Cancer UK.
The contest was followed by Christmas lunch and the presentation of trophies, awards and medals to the winners and runners-up of the year’s competitions.
