The members hope she will have a busy and successful year.

Meanwhile, Harvington Golf Society concluded the golfing year with a trip to Tewkesbury Park and enjoyed some wintery sunshine but damp conditions underfoot which meant the course was playing long.

He was followed by Ian Tyrrell and Mike Filleul with 33 and 32 respectively.

Paul Harper, Bob Claude and Rob Millward won prizes for nearest the pin and longest drive.

Despite a frosty start conditions at Broadway soon warmed up as the morning progressed for the 32 ladies in the winter league third round.

The foursomes match was competed over 16 holes with just one ball played per pair and then alternate shots taken.

Fran Andrews and Camilla Haines scored 31 points to seal top spot with second to fourth placings decided on countback with all pairs achieving 30.

Linda Carruthers and Beccie Williams earned second, Sue Barker and Lynda Newbery third and Debbie Donoghue and Andi Stedman fourth.
