SAM Clark dispatched a fifth-minute volley to put Pershore Town ahead against unbeaten leaders Shifnal Town in the West Midlands League Premier Division.
But visitors Shifnal hit back to claim the points with a 2-1 success at the Community Stadium and protect their 100 per cent record in the competition.
Tom Hill and Brad Sharman were on target for the Shropshire side who had five players booked.
Pershore, managed by Les Jones, slipped to 10th position with the defeat.
